We are so proud to be part of this inspirational young ladies journey to independence…..
At the age of just Seven Isabelle Weall was forced to go though a quadruple amputation when she was suddenly diagnosed with Bacterial Meningitis. This has in no way slowed her down though and not only is she a YouTube sensation, she is also a National Trampoline Champion, winning the title in 2017.
Des Gosling Mobility (with the help of the Motability Scheme and TC Harrison Ford Derby) have customised a Ford Focus for Isabelle adding fleeced lined 3D printed steering cups, radial hand controls, customised operational switches for the window and seat adjustment controls and various other custom grips and leavers to enable Isabelle to learn to drive independently.
As you can see from the smiles she was thrilled with the adaptations and can’t wait for her first driving lesson. She has set herself the goal of passing her test before Christmas and after witnessing Isabelle’s determination and drive, we have no doubt that this will happen!
