Left Foot Accelerators
If you have limited mobility in your right leg, and cannot use the standard accelerator comfortably, you may benefit from having a left foot accelerator fitted.
Quick Release Pedal Guard
The Quick Release Pedal Guard is a detachable cover which sits in front of the pedals to prevent involuntary operation of them.
Pedal Extensions
Pedal extensions bring the original pedals closer and can be installed into both automatic and manual vehicles.
Hinged Accelerator Pedal
The accelerator pedal is hinged and can be folded up when the hand control is being operated.
We fit hinged accelerator pedals, pedal guards, pedal extensions, left foot accelerators, and raised pedal systems. These help drivers who have limited leg length, use only one leg, or need modified pedal positions due to prosthetics or restricted movement.
A left foot accelerator repositions the accelerator pedal to the left of the brake, allowing drivers who cannot use their right leg to accelerate with their left foot while still braking with the same foot. The original right side accelerator is either removed or covered.
Some pedal extension systems are adjustable or can be folded away when not needed, allowing multiple drivers to use the vehicle. We'll discuss your household's requirements and recommend the most practical solution.
