Extended Seat Runners
Extended Seat Runners
If you have problems with bending your legs and find it difficult to get in and out of your vehicle it might help to re-position your seat. Our Extended Seat Runners can help with this. This is done by removing the seat and re-positioning it 4 inches further back inside the car. The seat is still able to slide backwards and forwards on its original runners, however the range of movements are further back. This gives the driver or passenger much more room for their legs to swing into the foot well.
Also very helpful for drivers who load a manual wheelchair across their body and into the passenger seat. The extra space afforded between the seat and the steering wheel makes this process significantly easier, and reduces the chance of catching either yourself or your steering wheel with the wheelchair.
