Here at Des Gosling Mobility we can discuss your needs, make suggestions and give practical demonstrations on driving adaptations, seating options and products to aid with getting in and out of vehicles to help you to make an informed decision about which adaptation is right for you.

If you’ve never driven with an adaptation before, we strongly advise that you arrange a test drive or demonstration to see which product could best suit your needs.

Motability hosts ‘Motability Live’, held at the NEC in Birmingham and regional centres each year where you can see adaptations in action. They invite adaptation installers to demonstrate some of the most popular adaptations ranging from hand controls, to boot hoists and stowage solutions. You can also test drive a range of automatic cars fitted with the most popular driving adaptations, such as push/pull hand controls, left foot accelerators and easy release steering balls. These events are free to attend and are spread across the UK, so there should be one relatively close to where you live.
