The Seat Belt Extensions provide additional length to the seat belt receiver. these extensions are designed specifically for each vehicle and sometimes specific seats within a vehicle. This is to guarantee a secure and safe fitting seat belt. Many modern vehicles also have occupancy sensors built into the seatbelts/seats, the specific design of these extensions allows them to work in tandem with these sensors, therefore avoiding accidentally tripping them.
These extensions are available in two forms:
- A rigid extension – this easily plugs into the existing seat belt and brings the female end up to a more accessible position.
- A webbing belt – this easily plugs into the existing seat belt and the webbing extends the female end. This version has the advantage of being more flexible and can be more comfortable for some.
The desired length of extension will also need to be specified at the point of order along with the seat in the vehicle with which the extension will be used.

The Seat Belt Extension is clipped into the original seat belt receiver on the vehicles seat. It is then securely positioned for use with the vehicle's seat belt.
