This hand held slim-line device is easy to hold and easy to use. It features a T grip which slots neatly between the user's fingers allowing them to maintain a Comfortable and Familiar grip on the steering wheel. To achieve acceleration simply push down on the plunger. The Satellite Accelerator, also sometimes referred to as the 'Pen Accelerator', communicates with the original electronics of the vehicle to ensure high performance and complete safety.
The Satellite Accelerator has a Plug-in/Plug-out feature. Simply unplug when the adaptation is not needed, the hand held unit can then be stored in the vehicle until needed again. The vehicle can be driven in the conventional manner during this period.
This product requires very little strength in the hand or fingers to operate and so is well suited to people with reduced dexterity in these areas. Braking is operated either with the original pedal or via an additional Brake Lever being installed in the vehicle.
Additional Features
Every installation comes complete with a Motor Reduction Button which reduces the accelerator power by 50%. This can reduce any stress in built up traffic, or when parking. It can also help whilst the user is first learning to use the adaptation by acting as a 'Limiter'.
A Brake Safety Switch is featured in the installation of the Brake Lever, or retro-fitted to the original pedal. Upon activation of this switch the Satellite Accelerator is automatically deactivated allowing you to safely perform an emergency stop should the occasion arise. To regain acceleration simply release the brake and accelerator.

Almost all driving adaptations allow someone else to drive the car as usual. Depending on the adaptation, they can either be folded away, turned off, or partially removed using a quick release mechanism. In some cases, nothing needs to be done at all.
