The SmartSteer is one of the best remote steering controls available. This handheld infra-red steering device provides all the functionality of a basic steering aid. It also enables the driver to operate up to 13 of the vehicle’s secondary functions at the touch of a button controlling up to 13 of the vehicle’s secondary functions.
The SmartSteer is suitable for either right or left hand operation, and is balanced so that the operating buttons are always in the correct position, regardless of the position of the wheel. The handset has a quick release feature in case the system is not in use or the vehicle is being left unattended, and also comes with a 5 year manufacturer’s guarantee. Furthermore, the SmartSteer has an automatic dimming handset and has the optional extra of self-cancelling indicators.
With the option of up to 10 or 13 way functions, the SmartSteer can typically control: Indicators, Headlights, Horn (Not available on all models), Windscreen wipers (front and rear), Windscreen washers (front and rear), Fog lights.
