What wheelchair hoists do you supply and fit?

We fit a comprehensive range including the Apex Assist, Folding Hoist, Smart Lifter range (LC, LM, LP models), Carolift 40, Carolift VSL 6900, Swift Lift, and ceiling mounted hoists. The right choice depends on your wheelchair or scooter weight, your vehicle, and how you want to load.

How do I know if my scooter will fit with a hoist?

We need to assess both your scooter dimensions and your vehicle boot space. As a rule, allow approximately 5 inches extra height and 6 inches extra width beyond your scooter's measurements for the hoist mechanism. Send us your scooter model and vehicle details for specific advice.

Can I operate a wheelchair hoist myself?

Many hoists are designed for independent use, operated by simple controls including remote buttons. Some users need assistance depending on their strength and mobility. We'll demonstrate operation and help you understand what you can manage independently.
