Carospeed Classic is a universal easy-to-use driving hand control for your vehicle with automatic transmission. Being a fully mechanical driving aid, it moves the accelerator and brake pedals to an intuitive hand control, allowing you to pull for acceleration and push for braking.
These hand controls are fitted to the left of the steering wheel and therefore are more suited to users with a stronger, more able left arm.
Each Carospeed Classic is equipped with a hill holder to maintain the brake pedal's position. This function enables the user to brake the car while changing gears or tuning the radio. Just press the button on the handle to turn it on. Its activation is only possible when the car is braking, with sufficient brake power and ignition on. The hill-holder releases automatically when the handle is pushed forward (braking).

These Carospeed Hand Controls are designed to operate in an intuitive manner. Simply pull to accelerate, and push to brake. You can watch our demonstrative video linked above to see this in action.

Almost all driving adaptations allow someone else to drive the car as usual. Depending on the adaptation, they can either be folded away, turned off, or partially removed using a quick release mechanism. In some cases, nothing needs to be done at all.
