eClassic
The eClassic hand control is a tried-and-tested solution that has been fitted in thousands of vehicles over the years. It combines a perfectly positioned control handle with user-friendly operation, maximum interior safety and optimum operational reliability.
The eClassic's handle position allows the driver to keep their arm completely relaxed, while the ergonomic shape and the material used mean the handle feels pleasant to hold. The eClassic is fitted to the left hand side of the steering wheel. This prevents any potential obstruction for the driver when getting in and out of the vehicle.
Acceleration and braking with the eClassic are completely separate movements. Rotate the lever downwards to apply the accelerator. Rotate the lever down fully to reach the kickdown. Push the lever forwards to Brake.
Thanks to the special lever geometry, braking requires little force and ensures that disabled drivers with a weak upper body can still have a secure grip.
The brake lock button is conveniently positioned in front of the accelerator handle to aid with hill starting. Its unique design allows the driver to accelerate before releasing the brake when starting on steep hills and/or driving with a heavy vehicle load.
