Swivel seats from Des Gosling Mobilty are a very effective transfer aid, assisting the user to easily get in and out of their vehicle. As the name suggests, the seat is adapted in such a way that it can be swivelled by 90 degrees; so that it faces directly out of the door of the vehicle. This makes it very easy for someone to lower themselves into the seat, without having to bend and twist as they manoeuvre under the arch of the door. Some swivel seats also feature a powered up/down motion to make transferring even easier.
Swivel seats can be installed on either side of the vehicle and are all fully EMC and crash test approved.
Programmable Swivel Seats
Brings the entire car seat outside the vehicle for both drivers and passengers.
The Turny Evo is a seat lift that will allow the user to get seated outside the vehicle, before being comfortably lifted to a safe position inside. Having the car seat completely outside of the vehicle and at a height of choice can be very helpful when getting seated or making the transfer from a wheelchair.
The unique feature of the Turny Evo is its programmable movement path. This allows the Turny Evo to be individually tailored to each user/vehicle combination and enables many driver’s side installations.
Swivels the car seat and extends it almost completely outside the vehicle.
The Turny Low Vehicle is a swivel seat that will allow the user to get seated outside the vehicle, before being comfortably moved to a safe position inside. Having the car seat outside of the vehicle can be very helpful when getting seated or making the transfer from a wheelchair.
The Turny Low Vehicle is the most advanced swivel seat on the market today. Its many unique features makes it possible to adapt car models previously thought impossible to adapt with a swivel seat.

Manual Swivel Seats
The Turnout is a swivel seat designed for those who find it difficult to enter a vehicle or make a transfer from the wheelchair. Installed as a layer between the vehicle’s floor and the car seat the Turnout enables the car seat to be rotated facing outwards. An added bonus is that the rotated seat will be a little bit further out, in other words closer to the user.
Out of all our Swivel Seats, this is the simplest and most economical solution. It is suitable for both drivers and passengers and is available with manual swivel as Turnout and with powered swivel as Turnout E. Both models come in either a 2-door or 4-door version.
Wheelchair Swivel Seats
The Carony system is a wheelchair with a low profile, detachable seat. This wheelchair is used in tandem with a swivel seat base, and the seat simply slides on rails from the wheel unit straight onto the swivel seat base. By using a Carony, the wheelchair occupant does not need to transfer from the seat of their wheelchair into the vehicle’s seat; removing any need to lift themselves.
The Carony system is available as either a manual wheelchair, the Carony Classic, or a powered chair, the Carony Go.
The Carony Classic is easy to manoeuvre and functions as an ordinary comfort wheelchair. It is also available with two different wheel alternatives: 12″ rear wheels, as a transport wheelchair for those unable to drive themselves, and with 24″ drive wheels, for those who can.
The Carony Go is the powered wheelchair version of the Carony.
Rise & Fall Seat
The Rise and Fall Seat allows for an easier transfer between a wheelchair and the seat of a vehicle.
Using a simple 2-button control the seat can be lowered to a position level with the user’s chair. The user can then transfer themselves across into the vehicle, possibly with the help of a transfer board. The seat can then be risen back up to a comfortable driving position.
Person Lifts – (Alternative solution) transfer from a wheelchair into the vehicle by use of an electronically powered arm and sling
Transfer Plates – (Alternative solution) designed to help people make a sidewise transfer between a wheelchair and the vehicle’s seat
Rooftop Storage – store your wheelchair on top of your car, safely and securely, in a weatherproof case. By using in conjunction with a swivel seat or transfer plate, a rooftop box can be operated straight from the seat, maximising the user’s independence.
