Wheelchair Stowage
CAROLIFT 6000/6900 Boot hoist for wheelchair and scooter

The hoist arm of Carolift 6000/6900 has an off-set design (like two “elbows”) which enables loading from the side of the vehicle. This means you can keep the wheelchair placed on the pavement thus not needing to descend to street level.
Lift capacity is 181 kg.
The Carolift model 6900 has a telescoping hoist head to pass through narrow door openings or to bypass wide bumpers.
The height of the lift pillar, as well as the length of the hoist arm, is easily adjusted to fit the specific Estate Wagon or MPV vehicle. In addition to this the hoist head can be angular adjusted to optimise the form of the rear door opening.
The hoist arm off-set feature provides an excellent installation in vehicles with an extra sloping rear door design.
The direct gear drive technology makes the hoist reliable and maintenance-free. The hoist has a scratch resistant black textured finish.
The hoists are CE-marked and safety tested according to FMVSS and the installation is made with a stable modular mounting base using several fi xing points. The speed can be adjusted by the installer to suit the user needs.

Carolift can pick up a wheelchair from the side of the vehicle, for example from the pavement.

Carolift 40

Carolift 40 is an articulated wheelchair hoist that can pick up a wheelchair, or rollator, directly from the pavement.
With the wheelchair next to the vehicle, just attach the docking device and push the UP button to raise it above the bottom of the door opening. Then, simply swing the lift arm into the vehicle and push the DOWN button - it's as simple as that!
The arm of Carolift 40 is articulated both ways and is thereby providing an almost endless variety of positions. This feature makes installations possible in vehicles with narrow rear openings and snug compartments.
The flexible arm and flexible mounting base makes Carolift 40 an excellent choice for sedans or estate cars with a sloping and low rear door.
The hoist is designed for lifting a load of maximum 40 kg ( 88 lbs ), which comprises practically all manual wheelchairs in the market.
The electrically-operated lift is powered by a 12-volt DC electric plug from the vehicles cigarette lighter or accessory socket.
Once the mobility device is stowed inside the vehicle the entire hoist can be folded to the floor to keep a clear back view. The hoist is detachable and easy to remove from its mounting base by just lifting it up and away, leaving only the mounting base and hoist holder in the compartment.
