The Person Lift - Comfortable and easy transfer into your car
Safe transfer without putting strain on the carer or the person being lifted.
It is very easy to move the person sideways with accuracy, due to the multiple pivot points on the lifting arm and extra bearing.
You can place the passenger exactly in the desired spot on the seat. The movements up and down are operated via a hand held control.

Even the smallest cars can be fitted with the Milford Person Lift (2- and 3-door vehicles have wider door openings).
All you need is a mounting post installed by the passenger door opening. In some vehicles it can also be installed on the driver’s side.
The sling is easy to fit while seated in the wheelchair
Place the sling behind the back of the wheelchair occupant and fold the lower ends of the sling gently under each thigh. Hook the sling fastenings onto the lift yoke.
The fitting of the sling does not require much effort and is very easy to do while the person is seated in his/her wheelchair.
Optional Mobile Base for using the lift elsewhere
The optional Mobile Base gives you the freedom and independence not only in your home but enables you to take your Milford Person Lift anywhere you’d like; visiting friends, on holiday, or even in a caravan.
Mobile Base is delivered complete with battery and charger. It breaks down into five manageable parts and can be assembled in about 3-5 minutes without any use of tools.
You can use the Milford Base to lift from a wheelchair, a bed, a toilet, a chair and a floor in fact, anywhere where you need a lift.
Electric Tip-Up Plate
This device helps people to make a sidewise transfer between a wheelchair and a car seat. The sliding plate is foldable and can be stored behind the B-pole when not in use. The sliding plate can be installed in vehicles with three and five doors, on either right or left front seat.
